Digital Fashion Week, one of Asia’s highest profile designer showcase takes place in Singapore each year and is the only fashion event that promotes the best young Singaporean fashion through events and digital platforms in Asia.
The theme for Digital Fashion Week Singapore 2014 is “European Exchange”. The world’s most mature supermodel Carmen Dell’Orefice will be gracing the event by walking the runway donning apparel by Singaporean designer Max Tan. International guest designers Cristiano Burani and Fyodor Golan will also be showcasing their latest collections, hot off the runways of the Milan and London Fashion Weeks. International guests who will be attending the event include journalist Hilary Alexander, celebrity stylist Rebekah Roy, Jourdan Miller and Sheena Liam, latest winners of America’s and Asia’s Next Top Model respectively.
“Fashion Fights AIDS the Charity T-Shirt launch” was a prelude to the upcoming Digital Fashion Week happening 31 Oct to 3 Nov 2014.
In partnership with Action for Aids Singapore, Digital Fashion Week Singapore presented “Fashion Fights AIDS the Charity T-Shirt launch” at a fashion show in the tube bridge at OrchardGateway in Singapore.
Nine local talented designers came together to design a T-shirt each for this worthwhile cause. The designers were: Depression, Kae Hana, Mash Up, Max Tan, Pauline Ning, Sundays, Yesah, You You and Yuki Mitsuyasu. The designers also gave us a sneak peak preview of their upcoming Spring/Summer 2015 collections with models strutting down the runway in various outfits during the evening. Check out the pics below.
